Awesome Pixy Dust for Illuminations

Tonight (11-15) while dining at Rose and Crown we were alerted that my 6yo DD had been chosen to start Illuminations. Apparently Mickey Mouse was running late on the Monorail and he called ahead to have them find my daughter to help out. They presented her with a crown and a certificate with her name etc. She was handed a magic wand that had a button on it to start the show. It was pretty awesome.

Aww, that is absolutely the coolest thing!!! What an exciting way to finish up dinner!

When I booked for 715p I hoped we would get an outside table and would be able to stretch out dinner long enough to watch Illuminations. While walking to the R&C DW and I said it would be no big deal if we were done eating before it started and we missed it. We ended up getting an outside table and it ended up being a nice relaxing dinner and we realized stretching it out would not be an issue. I'm glad we decided to watch.
