Awesome Deal on DL tickets

So excited I had to repost this here as well (original post on the Budget Board):

OMG!! I feel like I just won the lottery!!

I had several giftcards I wanted to use to puchase three day park hopper tickets to DL, but the website will only let you use up to three. So I called Disney to order the tickets. The CM, Daniel, was very nice and accomodating, and told me that Walt Disney Travel Company still had tickets left over from before the ticket price increase, $186.00 per ticket including a MM, Toon Town MM, and special seating to four shows at CA.

Holy Smoley... my prayers were answered!!! While there is a delivery fee for the tickets, the total I paid per three day park hopper including delivery charges was $192.50 per ticket, a savings of $21.50 off advance purchase park ticket prices!!

That's great!! keep in mind that if they do expire before you get to use them you will be asked to pay the difference. But if the CM sold them to you knowing your dates I'm sure you'll be good to go!! Enjoy the savings!

Yeah, the Walt Disney Travel Agent asked our specific dates, which are the week of Thanksgiving. I also asked if a day plus or minus would make a difference and he said "No, as long as you use all the days within 13 days of the first use." So I'm pretty sure we're good to go!!

The Disneyland website says the $199 tickets are valid January 4, 2012 through May 28, 2012. Which seems ridiculous to me...I'm sure they don't need to sell any extra tickets for the Christmas season, but I imagine a lot of people are going to mistakenly buy the $199 tickets that aren't supposed to be valid during their stay...

I assume you are right and people will see the deal and not notice the dates.

The idea of the promotion is to get people who want to go during Christmas Breaki n particular, when the parks are stretching at the seams reaching capacity, to delay into the slower season.
