Awesome deal on a 40" LCD 1080P flat screen!

Thanks for the post. My DH wants a new TV, and that price is WAY more in my budget than the ones he is looking at at Costco. Will check out the reviews.

Sold! :happytv: I've been waiting all year for BF to get a 37-40" tv and was hoping for another deal like the one Target had last year on a Westinghouse. That brand was about as 'off-brand' as I was willing to go since it did have great reviews and the price couldn't be beat at $300. But nope, nothing but brands I've never heard of this year. Like so many others, I was skeptical when I saw this one as well, but you're right! The reviews are great! And, after reading quite a few, turns out Sceptre has been quite successful with computer monitors for a few decades. Thank you!!!:cool1:

Yeah, I keep going back and forth on whether I should buy this one or try to get the one at walmart for $248 on black friday - is getting it this way worth the extra $70? I keep going back and forth. any thoughts?

I just bought this television after shopping around for ages. We just set it up last week and it is fantastic!

Just my opinion, but there is NO deal worth showing up in the middle of the night on black friday to get. NONE.

High stress, very little sleep, huge crowds, and often times the number of items available for many of these deals is extremely limited, that you need to be there many hours ahead of time to get in line. Often, with electronics, as well, the "special deals" cost less because they're worth a bit less and don't compare as well to some of the regular merchandise.

I did Black Friday at walmart once, about 4 years ago, and can safely say I will never do so again. Even showing up 4 hours before registers were open, everything I would have wanted to get, all the "great deals", were sold out.

I was just in Walmart and they had just changed out the display tvs. The ones they took down were marked pretty cheap. So anyone looking might check their Walmart. We got a 42 inch Sanyo flat screen lcd hdtv 1080p for $240! It was out of the box but did have the manual and remote.

Best buy had a 42 inch lchdtv 1080pb I think those are the right letters:rotfl2: for 199.99$ at midnight on the 25 in stores only. Good luck!

Wow, that's incredible! Looking for a 32-inch for DBF's "man-cave" in our house for his birthday (day after Christmas)-- these deals are amazing! I think I'll risk it and wait until after Black Friday. There's a huge Best Buy near my job that I'll source after Thanksgiving.

I was just at my local Best Buy picking up something else and they had over 50 of these tv's by the online pickup area. I was surprised they stocked that many. Hmmmm.....might have to consider.

well, I succumbed and bought the sceptre yesterday and I'm glad I did - walmart increased the price today to $329.98! I know it's only $11 more, but still!
