Awakenings and AK

I have just read that Tree of Life Awakenings won't be for a while. It was basically blamed on the time change. I see it is not listed on MDE. We are going mid April it it is one of the highlights for us. Does anyone know anything about this?
It also says the park closes at 7 pm... is there a chance that will change?

AK just does not stay open late enough for it to get dark enough for it. And based on that announcement I would not really expect the park hours to change much tbh. At best maybe 8pm closing.

Yeah that is what I was thinking. Currently it is open until 8 but as of Apr. 2 it says 7. Just wishful thinking. I have never been during spring or summer.

Just for fun I checked the April 2022 hours. MK stayed open until 11. Epcot and HS until 9. AK varied from 7 am to 7:30 am to 8:30 pm. Those were the posted hours here on the Disboards. Some were spring break changed hours from April 1 - 23. MK went back to 9 to 9 after that. Epcot was changed to 8:30 to 9 and went back to 10 to 9 after that. HS changed from 8:30 to 9 to 8 to 9. AK went to 7:30 to 8:30 for that period and back to 9 to 7 after that. At least that was what was posted on March 22 on Allears. The hours could very well have still changed after that date.

Yes, although I'm more bummed I won't be able to see Pandora at night. I've heard it's spectacular.

Yeah I agree with you on that too. Pandora is amazing at night

Awakenings is nice to watch, but nothing that I would make a special trip for. I don't think I'd be that bummed out missing it.
However, I really do like walking through Pandora at night.

Disappointing that they close at 7pm this year on nights they closed at 8:30pm last year. They haven't extended hours at any of the parks beyond April 1, so hopefully it is still coming with the TRON opening April 4.
