I had my phone planning session the 1st week in December & have not recieved my BEO yet. Approximately how long does it take to get? I emailed my wedding planner last week but still no response.

I'm getting anxious!!!

Hi Katie

I had my phone session on Nov 15th and still don't have a BEO. My Planner said anywhere between 4 to 6 weeks. I e-mailed her on Friday but still no answer

Keep in mind that they have been on holiday and had many December weddings. Hang in there!

Whats BEO stand for?

Banquet Event Order - basically a timeline for every detail of your wedding including prices.

Hi Ladies,

I just want to STRESS to you all how important a BEO is. When you do receive it, make sure EVERY detail is covered, down to the napkin fold!!

My reasoning is not price, but service!! I have been a banquet waitress all through school and still do it here and there. As waiters, we go by the BEO, if it's not on there, it won't happen, trust me!!

Our PS was on NOv. 15th and we got ours on December 23rd via email (so that is faster than mail) They told us between 4-6 weeks, but with holidays it will much longer.

And yes....check those BEO's when they come in

It took almost 3 months for us to get our BEO after our planning session. Our EM changed in the middle of the process which didn't help make anything easier or speed anything up! If you don't hear back I would ask your planner again for it, or at least an updated time frame you can expect it in. If you really need it right away, try calling your planner or their assistant.

So I called Claudine today, and actually got her on the phone. She said that BEO aren't sent out until 6 months before your wedding, and since I'm 7 months out they can't guarantee the prices for me. She should have told me this during out planning session instead of saying 4-6weeks. Anyhow, she's going to provided me with and rough BEO by next week just for my peace of mind.

i'm just about at 4 mos!!! UGHHHH!

Don't quote me on this but that does not sound right about the BEO not ging out until 6 months. I would call again and ask someone else.
I mean I know all weddings are not the same but people get them a lot sooner than 6 months.

I think that is true, b/c your BEO is a contract with Disney for what they will specifically provide and the price. So it makes since to me.

Typically the planning session doesn't happen until at least 6 months out so that might be why she said that. We had our planning session at 5 months out and received our first BEO about two 1/2 mos after that due to a change in wedding planners.

Brittany

Ok I see Brittany. That makes sense now because I went on my Ps very early at like 9 months. Sorry for any confusion

I called Ken Weaver & got his assistant. He had a family emergency and won't be back till Tuesday. She made a list verbally of all the questions I needed answered & assured me that he would get in touch with me on Tues. I feel a lil better now, I hate not knowing how far off or on budget is. We are getting close!!!

Katie-

Ken was our planner and our wedding was absolutely perfect. No need to stress, he will have everything under control!

Brittany

Thank you Brittany, I'll try not to!!!
