Has anyone tried Avon's anti-blister balm? I am thinking of ordering it but was wondering how well it works.

I haven't heard of it but I don't know anyone that sells Avon. Anyway, is it for your lips?
If so, I always find Chap Stick works the best for winter or summer. I use it all the time regardless of the weather for my lips. You can put it right under your lipstick too and your lipstick comes on smooth :) Anyway, if it's not for your lips, sorry :) Have fun!

haven't tried it but a friend told me she swears by putting stick deodorant on the area if she feels a blister starting to form.

Well, thanks to your thread I went to the Avon website and bought it. It was buy one get one free.

I'll try anything that might help prevent blisters!

I'll let you know what I think of it but won't be going to Disney till the end of August. Maybe I can try it on a day trip somewhere this Summer.

I have done this the last two times I went to six flags and it works as long as you remember to put it on a couple times throughout the day.

I have also ordered the Avon product to give it a try.

After reading a post on here about using spray deoderant on your feet in the morning before you put on your socks to help stop blisters I had to laugh, but I thought I would try it. I have done it the last two trips to Disney and no blisters. I would always get at least one on each foot.

It worked for me and I thank whoever posted it.

Can't help w/ the Avon product, but I swear by mole skin. It's a sort of flannel that comes w/ adhesive on the back. You put it where you expect to get a blister & it prevents the friction that causes the blister. Lasts all day. I like to buy the small sheets so I can cut them to size. I just trim a few before I leave so I have some that fit the big toe, the small toe, the heel, all of which obviously need a different sized strip.
HAPPY WALKING!

Well, it just came in the mail!!! That was FAST!

The jar is smaller than I thought it would be so I'm glad it was buy one, get one free.

First impression, it's a lot like Bodyglide. Same idea I'll bet BUT what's great about it for your feet is that it smells like Peppermint! I'm glad it does. Peppermint feels GREAT on feet especially when they are tired.

I bought Dr. Scholl's Peppermint foot cream that someone recommended here a long time ago and I use it every night at WDW after I've soaked my feet and it's GREAT!

So even though I haven't tested this stuff yet, I think I'm going to like it!

Oh and it says its great for chafing too!:teeth:
