Avoiding pool embarrassment

Is the WLVillas pool just for guests staying at the WLV or is it also the quiet pool for the WL and therefore any WL guest can use it? I don't want to send my family over there to swim and then be embarrassed. We are staying at the WL not the villas.

you can use either pool. The villas pool is referred to as the "quiet pool" between the two. It is usually populated with adults since the kids prefer the other one.

You can definately use the villas pool. Most of the time, the main pool is pretty crowded and the villas pool is pretty much empty! It's very peaceful over there.

We just came back from WL. We were told we could use either pool. But I never saw anyone from the hotel ask anyone at the pool what hotel they were staying at so it's possible there were people from other hotels there too.

The main pool does have a separate kiddie pool (maybe a foot deep?). It's usually full of little ones splashing around, but it's an option if she is having trouble swiming and just wants to splash around.

And yes, the quiet pool is for all WL and VWL guests and is usualy just that, quiet!! If I remember correctly, it also has it's own hot tub!

I have stayed at WL and used both pools. I believe the VWL pool is a little deeper than the WL theme pool. Maybe someone who has stayed recently can comment.
Also, I read that the VWL pool is kept cooler than the WL themed pool. Something about the members using the health club requesting cooler water for relaxing after working out? It sounds wierd, but I am sure I read it on these boards, probably DVC forums.
(maybe the VWL pool feels cooler because it lacks the body heat generated by the multitudes using the WL pool, lol).
