Avoid Wilderness Lodge in February 2017?

My wife and I are planning a trip to WDW at the end of February with another couple, and staying at Wilderness Lodge is our top choice. However, I'm worried about the construction having a major impact on our stay. Sounds like the expected completion date is April 2017 and may run way later, but I'm wondering if the construction at a point will overly interfere with our stay (with the hope they'll be working on finishing details on the DVC expansion at that point). Not asking for magic predictions here, just sound advice. We love the feel and theming of the resort, the lobby, the pools and hot tubs (I know the DVC pool is out), the restaurants and bar, the boat service to MK, and the price in relationship to other deluxe resorts. If the construction is limited to the DVC area, we're in good shape. However, if the main lodge is filled with construction walls and scaffolding at that time, like it is now, then I'm considering elsewhere. Thoughts?

I wouldn't expect construction to be done by April 2017. Permits extend through the full year, and Disney is not noted for finishing early.

No one can predict the state of construction 10 months out.

To this point, the construction has never been restricted to a "DVC area," and currently includes the main lodge.

We stayed this past December and again in March. Yes, there is construction but it did not bother us at all. It was definitely louder and more pronounced over by the DVC area. We walked by one day and couldn't imagine being a DVC guest with that noise. The main lobby has some coverings over the hallways where work is being done, but it's not really noticeable unless you're looking for/at it. We also never heard any noise in the main lobby from construction work.

We had a standard room and it was lovely and quiet. We used the main pool with no issues at all and the boat/bus service was a breeze.

they haven't even really started the 25 cabins on the shore yet. Based on the Poly, the odds of them being done next spring are very low.
