Avoid Typhoon Lagoon during the day on a H20 Glow Night?

Planning on a water park day 7/14 with the kids, which is one of the dates for H20 Glow Night at Typhoon Lagoon. Is there any benefit to going to TL over BB during the day if we are not attending Glow Night? Or should I plan on avoiding TL altogether and just plan on Blizzard Beach? We have been to BB and enjoyed it, but have never been to TL.

Kind of speculation since we don’t have a lot of history with this type of recurring event at TL (aside from more isolated special events that have happened in the past).

The park closes at 8pm, guests with H20 tickets can enter the park starting at 7pm.

I know for us, we have no intention of going to TL early at all. We want to eat a good dinner back at the resort then aim to be arriving at TL 7:45-8ish. We’re more motivated by the party/special event itself than getting any additional TL time in that day. I’m sure others may do the opposite and plan to “make a day of it.”
