Avoid park on After Hours day?

I was hoping to do magic kingdom on our last park day on January 27th. The park hours don't seem to be posted that far out yet but I see there is a MK After Hours event that night. We have young kids so we're not considering the After Hours event, but I am trying to scope out how an After Hours event impacts crowd levels during the day.

Will MK close earlier than normal for the After Hours party? Will MK be more crowded or less crowded than a non After Hours party day? Do After Hours crowds get in early for fireworks? Are fireworks crowds bigger than normal? Just trying to make an educated decision before deciding which parks we do each day of our trip!

Parks don't close early for After Hours events. They are like 10 PM to 1 AM so they are after park closure. The tickets allow 7pm park entry so if you're leaving by then nothing to worry about. They don't sell many tickets (not like Halloween or Christmas parties) so I doubt it's a massive swing in park attendance. Hope this helps!
