Does anyone know where I can get coupons for avis, my brother just booked it on hotwire. I was hoping he could use an upgrade coupon or fee tank of gas coupon at check in window. Also does avis have a something similar to a budget fastbreak?

Your brother can sign up for "Avis Preferred" online at www.avis.com. Sometimes you can find Avis coupons at Sam's Club, or AAA. He can also check www.mousesavers.com for rental car codes & deals. I've always been very happy with Avis' service.

However, Avis will probably NOT link the Hotwire reservation to his Preferred card so he will probably have to stand in line. There have been a lot of threads on Flyertalk and as far as I can tell, very few people have gotten a Hotwire or Priceline car linked to thier membeship numbers for the car rental companies.

Also, I would assume you would not be able to use the upgrade coupons with a Hotwire deal. I know you won't be able to use any "free gas" It's pretty much what you see is what you get. Hopefully he got a good deal.

2.$20 Rent a car min 5 days can get $20 off of Luxury, Premium, SUV Minivans
3.Free car upgrade
4.Free weekend rent a car for three or more days and you can get a weekend day free
5.$20 off weekend rental. Rent a car for min. of 2 consecutive weekend days and you get $5 off per day up to a total of $20.
