Avis - Is this the AAA rate code?

Hi,

Yesterday I booked a car with Avis and used the group ID B900000, which I read was a code any AAA member could use. Is that correct? I want to make sure I have the proper ID and that it is indeed the AAA card.

I tried booking through AAA for a car and the rates were out of sight. I did better booking right through the Hotdeals page at Alamo. We got a midsize SUV for something under $150 for 10 days. My AAA quote was double this. I was very disappointed. When I called the 800 number to see if this was right I got a lady on the phone, she was rude and did not care to help me in any way. I thing this will be my last year with them. The car quote did it.

I like booking my trips directly with Disney now anyway. The AAA Disney discount does not save us very much and you have to pay the $15.00 booking fee with AAA.

If anyone does know if B900000 is the AAA group code, for Avis, I'd appreciate it. I'm saving a huge amount of money with this code.

I googled it and everything comes up as it is a generic AAA code.
