Avis code from ????

I have an Avis code B136000. It gives awesome prices. I honestly don't know where I got it from, just found it wandering around online and had jotted it down. Does anyone know what the code is connected to? It comes up a corporate rate. Can anyone use it? Thanks for your help.

I did a Google search on "B136000 avis" and a ton of sites came up - looks like lots of folks are using that code.

I went to Avis to see what rate it would give me & I got the same rate as when I used the AWD code I got from BJ's website.

I thought it was a great code but I don't know if anyone can use it or if it has restrictions. That's why I'm asking. I can't use BJ's code because I'm not a member.

I just booked with avis for 7/29-8/9 yesterday using a code from mousesavers.com THEN I read your post, so I went back and tried your code...my already-booked rate was much better! 11 days/fullsize/4 door 303.95 inclusive of taxes and fees. The code, K492101 comes from the Florida Vacation Guide. This is the best rate for these dates/this size car that I've found from anyone! FYI--renting out of a texas location--roundtrip. Even with this ressie, I'm still holding out hope for a great rate on a mini-van, which has been impossible, so far.

I also searched "B136000 Avis" on google and it appears to me that it must be some type of corporate discount code that Avis has assigned to some health care organizations and others. I would suppose you probably should have some verification in case you are asked. I also read some interesting comments on a British board called http://www.flyertalk.com that mentioned the potetential of losing your insurance coverage should it be discovered that you rented using a code that was not valid for you and it was discovered. This information may not be applicable to the US but it is an point that I had never considered. I would be careful to only use codes that you are qualified for. That being said these other codes can be plugged in and used to determine if you really do have a "good rate" with whatever code you are qualified to use.

What about rate code D005297, it gives good rates for a compact car, but is it safe to use?

I found a great Priceless rental car code for Avis AWD# D011101
It is posted on the Pricless Vacations web site along with the National code and a Alamo code.
