Avery is going to Preschool!

I started a thread yesterday asking for advice on what to look for in a preschool classroom.

We went this morning and it was exactly the atmosphere and learning structure that I wanted. I talked to the head teacher extensively and asked her all of the questions that I got from here yesterday (Thank You!).

The kids were doing a project in small groups and the rest were having free play time. It looked chaotic yet under control.

We signed DD up today because there were only 2 spots left and she said there were several registration forms out. I know I will not regret this decision!

DH is not taking it as well. He is having separation anxiety already!

I just wanted to say "Thank You" once again to those who gave me advice yesterday. It really helped me out!

I'm glad you found a program you like. I know it means the world to DH and I that DD is in a school she really enjoys. Nothing is better than having your child tell you they had a great day at school. Best of luck.

I hope she really enjoys going to preschool everyday and seeing her friends and learning new things. This will be a time for you to also interact with other parents that has kids the same age as your daughter, and who knows, maybe you will find a new friend through this experience.
