Average Temp in early October?

We are planning our next trip for the week of October 7-14th. Can anyone tell me what kind of temps to expect during the days and nights?

We went the first week in October last year and the temps were in the 90s -- and very humid!

We were at WDW October of last year. It was very hot and humid during the day with very little relief at night. Unfortunately it also rained quite a bit. Based on last year, I would bring your summer clothes and a light jacket or raincoat.

However, despite the heat and humidity, we still enjoyed our trip so much that we will be returning this year at the same time!

I've never been in October, but have read that the average temp is in the mid 80's, in the daytime. I don't know the average eve. temp. I know last year was unseasonably HOT and HUMID. I'm praying for something a little less severe this year, since we'll be venturing down for our first WDW vacation in the fall!

Well said. I should've mentioned that we were told that last October was unusually hot and humid. Several long time cast members we spoke with stated that it was the most uncomfortable October they had ever experienced.

We are also hoping that Oct 2006 weather will not be a repeat of Oct 2005!
