Average length for dinner at le Cellier?

About how long does dinner take at le Cellier? We have a 6:40 ADR, and I want to make sure we get a good spot and see Illuminations.

My guess is that we'll have enough time, it never hurts to ask ...

It can be a long meal. I'd say to allow for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

It's definitely a leisurely meal.

If you might be pressed for time but want to give it a try anyway, be sure and get there at least 15 minutes early to increase your chances of getting seated on time.

Thanks. I was trying for a 6:30 adr, but even with the 180+10, we were only able to get the 6:40 time slot. We will try getting there early and see what happens. The worst they could say is no.

We could also tell the wait staff that we want to make Illuminations, and not to "hold" any of our dishes for us. We've have asked that at non-Disney restaurants in the past, and they've been more than happy to oblige, since it opens up a table much earlier for them.

I have had the oposite at Le Cellier. We are usually rushed through our meals, entree coming while we are still eating our appy- like they want to move us out of the table for the next person waiting.
It could go either way for you but since you have 2.5 hrs before Illuminations you should be fine, get to the resturant 20 min or so before your ADR you might get in earlier.

We had an ADR for 7:40 and we walked out at 9:00 p.m. Our biggest wait, was waiting for our waitress to bring our bill. We actually watched everything from the entrance to LeCellier. As the show went on, people left and we moved up closer to see the ball. My eye site is going and I need glasses, so the ball looked blury to me but you could still see fairly decent. So I think your 6:40 time will be perfect.
