I can't believe she picked Jason. This just proves that looks will get you everywhere in life. I liked her up until she picked the him. I mean the guy was so good looking I think he's hot and I'm straight! Adam was such a nice guy and real sincere. My buddies and I are gonna go have a beer now in Adams honor. Here is too Adam, hope he finds a better woman than her.

I was SURE she was going to pick Adam.I guess I gave her too much credit. He is the real winner because he will now have women linned up to date him and the "pretty couple" will have each other.
What a class act he was (Adam) when he was sent home. I hope his heart heals soon and he finds someone who he can share his life with.

We were figuring she'd take the hit on the looks to be with someone that is more stable. Being a multimillionaire wouldn't be bad.

But her quote as he was getting on the place explained her mind set "How can you not love those looks". Looks. Sheeeesh.

Here's my take. She's goona go out with this Jason guy, see he's a moocher (at least that's my impression) and dump him and give Adam a call. After all, why would she spend all the time telling him what a great <b>friend</b> he is, etc. She was hedging her bets if it didn't work out with Jason.

I hope because of this Adam (and well, those other geeks too) find more chances than they might not have had.

I wonder if they also have an Average Joe 3 in the bag also? They could have done any number of them at the same time. I don't know if I will watch the next one. I just see the underdog losing again.

Adam totally got the shaft. He is a keeper. I know he's not the cutest guy in the world, but he is such a charming, genuine, sweet guy. Some lady out there will be very lucky to have him.

Melana isn't worthy of him. From day one, I viewed her as being shallow and the final day proves the point.

In the end, it's not the hot guy that you want to take to bed that will be the good husband/father material, it's the good friend that you fall in love with that is the keeper that won't be so likely to end up in the news for being caught in a bath house raid.

PS. I have no desire to watch the new Average Joe that they plugged when the show ended. That woman is even worse than Melana.

I could tell she was going to pick Jason when she started say "any girl would be lucky to be with adam" and then she gave him a gift. It was like she was trying to make herself feel better for her decision. But like all my friends and I said, he'll have the women lining up out the door now. The hardest part is finding one that isn't there for his money. Oh and don't worry about her and Jason. I know his type, hell I was his type. He'll dump her before she can take him to Kansas City. He'll get a nice big notch in his bedpost then head back home for some of Mommies cooking. Can you tell I was rooting for Adam??? These reality shows are driving me insane....

One thought I had was she picked Jason because since he isnt settled anywhere, he could easily move to where she lives. Where as Adam would never leave all that he has in NY.

I watched the first episode of this show, and then never watched again, assuming the ending would be a letdown for the "common person". Now today reading these posts, that is exactly what happened at the end of the show. "Ugly" guys lose and model wins. Everything is always about physical appearances and attractiveness.

Glad I watched Law and Order on TNT instead every Monday night!

I have to confuse that when they did makeup to make the "cousin" look overweight, I watched parts of the show.

Tonight I turned the channel to see who she picked.

Adam was a class act they way he handled the situation. I know I would have not ben so gracious. He will have women lined up! I think he was atttractive.

Did anyone else notice that the NYC footage was taken in the SPRING? The trees were budding.

My guess is that Jason has already dumped her. It would be interesting to see if the main players make it on any of the NYC morning shows tomorrow.

I think she was a fool. Sure, Jason would make a girl's (and some boy's) hearts go pitter-patter. For a while. Adam was the real deal. I hope that he finds the real deal too and not some fake-babe. Perhaps this was best for him.

I really don't know why everyone is ragging on Jason, though. I watched the entire series and never saw him act any way other than perfect. People are saying that's proof that she is shallow? Funny... people are judging Jason based on the fact that he's a pretty boy. Now if he acted like Zack, I would understand. Besides, if she picked Adam, everyone would say she's going for the money. It's a no-win situation as far as her reputation is concerned. I personally think it would be a lot easier to fall for money than for looks; she's brave to go with her heart; who knows if this guy will ever be successful. I probably would have picked Adam, though possibly for the wrong reasons. I think that voice would have grated on my nerves eventually, too. Did anyone else see Adam Sandler every time he talked?

I really did wish they would have wound up together, though; he really was sweet, and Jason looked like he'd have less of a problem bouncing back. Poor Adam -- now that he's had Melana (which BTW means "bloody stool" if spelled a little differently ), he's ruined for all of us average Janes.

I don't think they showed Jason as having much personality at all. I was LOL when they were showing the "Rocky vs. the sunbather" bit. Adam is going to be one hot commodity for a while IMO.

Didn't you see when they got done playing polo and jason won the date and adam said congratulations and raised a toast, and jason said to him 'I don't know what YOU'RE toasting to...' and then a minute later made another completely rude comment about one of the 'average joes'?

Trust me, Jason deserves all the disrespect he's getting.

I'd taped it because I was out watching the game, but my sister & I watched it when I got home. I saw all but the second to last show (& I was hoping to hear what she'd said to Zach).

The moment I heard her utter the dreaded phrase that "any girl would be lucky to be with him..." about Adam, I knew he was DOA & the gift with the hollow "Thanks for making me smile" line was the nail in the coffin. Not to mention the "goodnight" during Jason's date alluded to them spending the night together with the door closing behind them, while during Adam's it was just left kind of hanging. I paused it right before the final selection process & asked my sister what she thought. She swore that she'd pick Adam. I told her that Adam was going home alone.

I feel bad for Adam, because sure, there will be women flocking to him, but how many because they're genuinely interested in him, how many just because he was on TV & how many because of his money?

I didn't think Jason was a bad guy, but he really didn't seem to open up much & the "well what do you want to know about me" attitude didn't impress me much. Plus, being a waiter, he should have known that ordering more than one cocktail per person (especially in a nice restaurant) is bad form, not to mention it sends the wrong message. Then again, he was done with his 2nd before she was even halfway done with her first, so maybe he was thirsty?


What would you rather have as a memory of your first few dates - naming a drink after your first kiss in a glider & the funny time some gifts caught fire OR some dates that were good, but not remarkable & you started off by asking the guy if he's ever been with another dude?

I'd rant & rave about the next Average Joe, but I'm sure I'll get suckered into watching that one as well.
