Average Joe ... Adam Returns (Finale)

Any guesses who Adam picks tonight? I am trying to decide which of the girls his mother absolutely hates. My guess is Christy (Gamer). I think she could be a real "B" if given the chance.

I watched the show last night and was sooooo disappointed by the outcome. Even my husband (who will deny watching the show if asked) was upset by who Adam picked.

While I was hoping for Rachel to win, I have to agree with the "chemistry" aspect...Adam was questioning Rachel on it, bit to me I thought he was trying to tell her that HE did not have that strong of feel for her. I mean, she did slam him for not being there for the *right reasons*,(did you see the look on Adams face!?!) but if chemistry is one of those reasons for him, then she is better off w/out him as they did not seem to match as well in that area. The part w/the dog/shopping at Barneys etc. was a bit much for me tho...(picturing whip cracking...poochie leading Adam to the waiting Limo... ) I thiught his Mom had a good point saying Rachel was like Adam from AJ 1 and Sam was like Jason....

I was very disappointed in Adam. I thought he was totally turned off by Sam's doting on her dog. When he "snuggled" with Rachael at the end of their date - I thought I knew he was picking her. I agree with Adam's parents, but as someone else pointed out - Mom & Dad's disapproval can be the kiss of death! Sam seems too high-maintenance to me.

I was so disappointed in Adam! Rachel was never one of my favorites but once the final two were picked, I wanted her to win. Not only was Rachel nicer, she was much prettier than Sam. Samantha has a very hard look to her, like maybe she drinks or smokes too much. And her personality? Yikes! The parents were right about her. I was rooting for Amy to win. It just goes to show, beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.

Add me to the list of people disappointed in Adam's choice.

I could not stand Sam, she seemed so fake & almost controlling.

Rachel seemed alot more down to Earth, more natural, more caring...more real!

Out of the two, I thought Rachel was a lot prettier then Sam!!!!

I would love to know where Sam & Adam are in about 6 months!!!

As I posted on the other thread, for Rachel's sake I am glad he did not pick her. I can not imagine dating a man who is longing for someone else. Physical chemistry can not be faked. Is it enough to base a relationship on? Of course not - but I do think it is important.

I wonder what Sam's reaction was last night to hearing Adam's negative comments about her dog?

I know that Adam is supposed to be on On Air with Ryan Seacrest, but it looks like it's just him.

I can agree with the chemisty aspect of it. I know he asked Rachael if she felt passion for him. But come on, look at the 2 finale dates. He took Sam on a huge boat to watch the sunset behind the Statue of Liberty and he took Racheal to an art museum. How much passion can she show at a museum. I thought they had alot of passion when they were shooting arrows at the balloons and then later when they were in the barn when he gave her the bracelet. I to thought he was going to pick Racheal after spending the night with her on he couch. I think he will end up regretting his decision at some point.

He very well may regret his decision. I do think the passion thing is relative. Rachel is likely prettier than any girl he has ever dated before - and outside of the the show, I bet he wouldn't have doubted their chemistry. Sam just intrigued him though.

It won't take Sam (and Chloe) too long to go through Adam's money. Maybe then he can be on "Average Penniless Joe"!

I, too, was disgusted by the outcome of last night's show. But one thing we have to keep in mind is that the show is edited to show us just what the producers want us to see. In reality, things may not have even come close to what we saw last night.

This may have been the best thing to happen to Rachel as she may end of being the next "Average Jane". Being dumped on national TV does have it's perks.
