We are off next October, we have already booked our disney package staying at OKW with dining and park tickets. However flights have not been released yet so was wondering what I should expect in terms of price per person? we are a family of 4. Any help will be appreciated. :)

With Virgin you should be able to get direct flights between £500-£600 pp.Maybe a little lower during sales if your lucky.

I researched this in detail before we booked.:surfweb: It depends on when you plan on going. October half term and the week before it and after it seem to be more expensive. It was cheaper for us to fly out on a Monday, rather than over the weekend. The prices seemed to climb after they were released and I didn't see any 'bargain' prices in the sales for our dates.

We paid £2796 for 3 adults and 2 children, flying out on the first Monday of half-term, with Virgin from Manchester.

We are staying at OKW too - can't wait! I have writtena pre-trip report if that helps.:)

booked oct 18th / nov 9th on us airways on T fare (heavy discount economy)
Flight is from paris indirect but fares are similar
2 adults 1 child 4yo (paying 90℅ of adult fare)
1450 euros roughly £1160 for the 3 of us
So under £400pp

This will be our 3rd October half term away.

Indirect i'd budget £500 ish each. We are going on the Monday for £450 each US airways from Manchester. The direct prices for Virgin/thomson from Manchester have been high as they know they will sell the seats - £700 plus.

There is still availability through Monarch for this October half term and they're coming in at £475pp direct

Paid £1150 for two adults direct with Virgin. This was last year. But to be fair paid about the same for September flights this year.

We're doing the half term fortnight this year - Sat 20th Oct to Sat 3rd Nov. I bought on pretty much the first day of availability back in December last year, and we ended up paying £900pp for 2 adults/2 kids :crazy2:. Which is quite scary. I've checked back frequently, and I never saw those flights get cheaper. That is MAN-MCO with Virgin.

I'd advise avoiding the half-term Saturdays! I'd already booked the Disney bit a couple of months before (for 30% OKW discount and free dining) so was pretty much tied in.

Just for ref, our breakdown was this:
2 Adults: GBP 672.00 each
2 Children: GBP 504.00 each
Taxes, fees, charges and surcharges:
This includes the government imposed September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per segment. GBP 1,160.36
Credit card fee GBP 52.68
Total: GBP 3,565.04

How much tax!? :furious:

The secret is out about October - those sat flight are like golddust.

Disney will move a reservation for free (complete orlando charge £35 admin fee) We shifted our dates to the monday as £500 pp is my limit.
