What is the average cost of an adult beverage in the World? I am trying to figure out if am AP and TIW card is worth it for me and the cost of alcohol will play a part in it.

I know the TIW is not accepted at most CS places but it is at a few - esp in AK. And all ears lists the costs of beer and wine at many cs places.

But how much on average do drinks cost at TS restaurants - both 1 credit and the signatures (though I will not be doing the dining plan). My dining itinerary includes places like The Wave, Citrico's, Boma, Kona, Yachtsman, Artist Point, Cali Grill, and maybe Shula's, Blue Zoo, Il Mulino and some others. Perhaps a couple of places in World Showcase too.

What about cost of drinks in the lounges - at the Poly, GF, CR, WL, AK,.

Looking for costs of beer, wine, maybe house champagne, and mixed such as margaritas and martinis, but any info anyone can offer would be great!

Thank you!

We are at WDW right now. Beer is running around $6 a glass for domestic. Wine really varies, but starts around $7 a glass. Mixed drinks range from $8 to $10.

I would say drink prices average $8-$12. Disney alcohol definitely is NOT a bargain, hence why we use our TIW card all the time! Dh and I often have a bottle of wine or a few cocktails with dinner so we have found it worth it.
I just pulled out some of my receipts from March - here are some prices:

Glass of Sauv Blanc from Nine Dragons - $8.95
Glasses of Wine from Bistro de Paris - $10.95, $13.95 and $16
Lapu Lapu at Kona Cafe - $13.25
Wine Pairing at V & A's - $60 per person
(Our dinner at V & A's alone paid off the TIW card)

*Non-discounted beverages:
Grey goose slushie at France cart - $9.95
Mango Gingerita at China Tea Cart - $7.99
Coffee with Frangelico at Epcot coffee cart - $9.58

Also keep in mind with your regular AP that you also get 10% merch. We tend to do a bit of souvenir shopping so every little bit helps! And boy, do I drink a lot while at WDW! :rolleyes1

Having bought more than a few adult beverages at WDW I feel qualified to weigh in on this one.
Beer, depending on location and selection will run between $5.50 to $8
Mixed drinks, once again depending on location and selection will be in the $7 to $9 range.
Specialty drinks run the range of prices, but an average about $10, more for for the fancy ones.

When you start getting into wine by the glass you are at an average of about $8 per glass. For bottles; the prices are what I call "expected resort markup". Champagne, about $9 a glass.

We travel with a group of very serious food and drink enthusiasts and have found the TIW card pays for itself in a weekend of dining and drinking.

I made a list of every drinking establishment at WDW, but we have not listed prices (yeah, we are that dedicated) www.DrinkingAtDisney.com

As PP have said drinks are not cheap! And I just read sonmeplace that beer has gone up $.50. So that would make a bottle of Bud Lite $6.00. The frozen margarita in Mexico is around $12-13. The patron is a couple is more. Mixed drinks $8 and UP!! The specialty drinks start at around $12. FYI if you order a regular mixed drink, (not specialty)such as a rum/coke, ask for a tall. IMO the regular ones are tiny and you can save a little this way too! :goodvibes

I had 2 magical stars in sitdown restaurants, each 10.50 (but they had the glowcube) and I had a Welsh Dragon to go, no special cup, for 6.50. I thought they were fairly sizable drinks too, particularly the Welsh Dragon. I must find the recipes for these guys though, soooo good.
