Avengers Half Marathon

I couldn't find the RunDisney thread so I thought I would throw this out here. A bunch of us from around the country want to meet and do the Avengers Half in November. Does anyone know what day the event is actually run? Do they do it multiple times throughout the weekend? Any idea on cost from last year?

It would be my first trip to Disneyland so I am real excited!

The Avengers Half should be Nov 15th, and first corral should start at 530am (there are up to 10 corrals, and they start the corrals 5 minutes apart.) I say should as that is the typical timing. However, actual dates and timing will be announced end of March. No, they do not run it multiple times, as they are closing city streets for it, and are limited on the time they can do this.

Their site is not the best for finding this kind of info. Do you have any idea on what the cost was?

It was $195 last year, it will probably be a little more this year. It sold out in under 2 hours last time, you want to start getting your group organized and ready as soon as the registration info is released.

RunDisney.com has all of the information on it....I think they've already announced dates for next year already also.

Since I'm sitting here with the info in front of me I'll type it out.

Avengers Super Hero Half Marathon Weekend November 12-15, 2015.
Registration opens April 7, 2015.

The Half will be on the 15th. I'm guessing there will be a 10K added on Saturday since they added a day to the weekend for 2015.

Plan to register AS SOON AS it opens on April 7th. It sold out in under 2 hours this past year I believe. I believe the half was $195 this past year. If there is a 10K and they make a 10k/Half challenge expect the challenge to cost around $320ish. The 10K alone would be in the $100 ballpark.
