Avengers Campus Superthread – Opening June 4, 2021!

I practiced ROTR for a month before WS que came out and was successful everytime. Since WS came out I’ve only been successful on either maybe 50% of the time

I hope it's ok to ask this here. So we got a one day parkhopper for this month and are starting out in DCA. Since we only have one day we aren't even gonna try to get into Avengers Campus. There is just too much other stuff we want to see. I'm kind of worried about the line getting into the park because of so many people wanting to get into AC. I heard people have been lining up super early. So any advice for us on when we should plan to get there and not have to wait hours just to get into the park?

Park has actually opened before the posted 9am time. Expect the park to open as early as 810am and plan accordingly on when to arrive.

Yesterday it didn't take us long to get into the park at all. Got in security line at Downtown Disney around 7:55, security opened at 8:00, we were in the park by 8:15. I would highly recommend getting there early not because of the lines, but because the park was basically fully open at that point (despite posted opening time of 9:00). Great time to get some rides in before crowds pick up.

Oh good that is just what I was wondering. Thank you.

Has anyone actually been successful practicing at 7 AM for WS? I’m starting to think it’s not possible but it will be when it’s the real thing

If you get a boarding group for Web Slingers, you will be able to bypass the line to get in the land after your group has been called. Might be worth it just to get in for even a short amount of time.

Although I have heard that even with boarding groups, the line to get into the ride can get long.

The line now looks long. But when we came in at about 9:30, we only waited 5 mins for it. And Guardians was walk on. So definitely worth trying for the boarding pass at the 7am drop.

Good to know. I think I'm going to be trying for ROTR though if that is possible. If not though I will try that. Any idea if I can try for ROTR if I'm doing DCA first?

No, you can’t. You have to have your reservation for DL to try for RotR at the 7am drop. You could do the 12pm one if you’ve either done WS or aren’t doing the noon one.

As others have said, you have to wait for noon. But also, if you get Web Slingers at 7, you will either have to ride or cancel your bg before noon to try for RotR at noon.

Thank you. I guess I may as well just try to WS then at 7. What can it hurt. Hey and then if I can get in for that I can ride Guardians because I haven't ridden it yet. The last time we were at DCA was the last day for TOT.

I was successful one day last week. Even had enough time to go and get one for ROTR. However that's the only 7 AM time I've been successful.

I've been successful a lot. I use the tab method and wait for my phone time to change to 7. I'm not 💯 but am usually able to get through.

I only tried twice before actually going, but I was successful on one of those two practice runs. And on game day my son snagged BG 3 (from home, on fast wifi, tab method)
