Ok, so admittedly, it's been 4 years since we were at the Cali parks (been going to FL since then), so this will be our first time back, since Avengers Campus opened.

I have a few questions, if someone doesn't mind answering them...

1) I realize that they have BGs for Spidey....they're at 7 and 1?? Is that correct?

2) Do you have to have a BG to get into Avengers Campus area?

3) If you don't have to have a BG to get into the area, what's the best plan for not waiting hours and hours....if that's possible. :rolleyes1

4) I've read threads talking about issues with food orders. Is this still an ongoing issue in Avengers Campus too?

Thank you in advance for any assistance/tips.

7 and noon

no

Just walk in? We were there last week and there was no issue walking into/around/through Avengers Campus. There was no waiting like when it first opened.

We had no issues with mobile ordering from Pym’s. Sadly the food wasn’t very good, though.

Thank you for the quick replies!! That puts my stress level at about a 3 versus the 10 that it was at regarding Avengers Campus.

We were there Weds-Sat. We had no issues mobile ordering from Pyms. We only got the giant pretzel- but it was good. There was also a walk up line which sometimes was long (around meal hours) and sometimes short. Outside of Pyms-- we had alot of issues with mobile ordering other places and saw others having trouble too--- after a few tries- we quit using mobile order and just walked up most places and ordered. It was a lot faster and easier. Got tired of standing there waiting for our Order and watching people line up -stand in line- order and get their food while we were still waiting. For AC-- the park was packed and the schwarma cart rarely had a very long line--- if it did, the 2nd cart back by Guardians hardly ever seemed to have much of a line.

If you look on the Disneyland website and go into park hours and daily you can get the schedule for all the shows in the area by day. I had written them down since they were a priority for DD- I was glad I had because I tried to pull them up on the app while we were there instead of digging for the paper in my purse and couldn't get them. The ones I had written down were accurate. They won't tell you what characters are meeting and when, you just have to keep an eye on the area where the characters come out. Spiderman has is own dedicated area and he always meets right after his show so he is the easiest. DD really wanted to see Loki - he was her favorite at CA before the series and Avenger's campus and in all the days we were there and looked for him multiple times we only spotted him once from a distance and he was walking backstage.

Webslingers Boarding groups can be hard to get (assuming they are still doing them when you are there and they have not gone to pay for the ride or standby). If you don't get it at 7:00 and are in CA- go over to the area by GRR where it is not very crowded. That is how I finally got it.

Out of curiosity - what did you have at Pym's that you did not like? It seems very hit or miss so I'm trying to see if anything is a good or bad across the board...

I notice a lot of people head over to Avengers campus at rope drop and I think it's a mistake. (Unless you already have a an early BG).

Check the Entertainment hours for that land on the Disneyland app and plan accordingly. The shows are a lot of fun.

The Pym-ini Sandwich wasn’t bad. The Not-So-Little Chicken sandwich was not good. Chicken was rubbery and the bun old and inedible. We threw away most of the chicken sandwich (and we really had been looking forward to it!). Same for a shawarma wrap from the cart—didn’t like it and threw most of it away.

Tip: if they give you a stone cold pretzel, bring it back and nicely tell them it's stone cold. They will give you one fresh from the oven and it's delicious!
