We have to remember that all the ROL merchandise was ordered, made and pretty sure in store rooms by last spring. So this stuff has been sitting there since waiting to be sold. At some point you begin to pay taxes on the carried over merchandise so it wouldn't surprise me at all to see them move it out of storage and try to sell it no matter when the open date is. That is cute and very sellable even without a show. The tshirts that I saw were good looking too, even without a show.

On that note, everyone buying a bubble wand or anything else with batteries needs to check it's strength before you walk away and if it dies too soon, get it replaced. Likely the batteries are over a year old now.

Maybe for their families/friends to know about visiting, using CM tickets etc. I know I use it when visiting CMs mostly for making plans they can go in with.
