We’re here now...EMH is at 7:00am and we entered the park at 7:10. The line for Avatar went way back to where you turn to go to Pandora and they are saying 2.5 hours. Are they just trying to deter us or is it really 2.5 hours? We’re not even in the entrance of the ride yet.

It’s probably really 2.5 hours. Likely people started lining up before 6:00 AM. We arrived at 7:10 for an 8:00 AM EMH and there were at least 200 people ahead of us. By the time we left the park at 8:45 (so still before regular opening), wait time was 360 min.

It’s likely that long. No matter the park opening time, you’ll want to get there 60-90 min prior to that time.

So a lot of people were arriving 5:30-6am
