Does this mean costs extra??

For example Childs menu at Garden Grill says fries, soft drink available upon request, we are on the DDP will we have to pay out of pocket if our kids want fries instead of veggies??

No, it does not cost extra, Disney would just like to say they are searving healthy meals so if you don't notice the small writing you may not know about it.
