Availability stats

Looking at Aulani during the summer. Non home resort, anyone have any stats for previous years availability during this time frame.

There's not enough historical data to judge any trends yet. My guess is that this upcoming summer will be quite a bit busier than in prior years, because all the construction will be done and word is finally getting out about how incredible Aulani is. Since most people won't make the long flight to Hawaii just for a couple of days of vacation, many have to wait for school vacation time in order to have a proper trip.

All that being said, I think there will still be availability at the 7-month point. Just like at any other DVC resort, you may have to be flexible on dates or room types, but I think you'll be able to find something.

Agree with the above that any "pattern" would not exist yet because of reasons stated. If using this year as a guide that may not repeat itself, it looks like the points chart had the most control at 7 months out. Before June 24, i.e., during choice season, it was near impossible to get anything 7 months out. After June 23, i.e., magic season, many things were usually available except that standard and island/garden view were often gone.
