Looking into staying at the homewood suites main gate area - yes they have a shuttle, but we like to come and go without a schedule. Is it easy to get a cab from such a hotel to Disneyland entrance?

I'm wondering this myself (except going from Del Sol Inn to GCH). Or, are there cabs that can carry a large scooter?

I don't know of a taxi stand nearby but I have simply called them and had a cab show up within 5 minutes. With all the hotels nearby, they're always in the area so the wait is short.

The hotel front desk will easily call a cab for you, it's not usually more than 5 minutes before they arrive. There are always plenty of cabs at the Main Gate pedestrian drop off/cab area on Harbor to take you back.

Its easy to cab, with the right reservation. The trip is Uber and Lyft drivers aren ttoo prevalent. Just not hot enough to warrant attention from regular drivers. Unless a convention in town.

I haven't tried a cab from the hotel, but our trip in September I suffered a massive vertigo attack to where I couldn't walk. Disney wheeled me via wheelchair to the front entrance past the busses where there were plenty of cabs waiting as I had no chance to be able to get up the three stairs of our shuttle bus so that's always an option as well.
