I am unexpectedly taking a trip to WDW the last part of April to visit my niece who is a CM. Staying club level in the tower rooms at Coronado Springs because that was where she could get a really good deal. Unfortunately, she was not able to get a handicapped accessible room. I do not have an accessible bathroom in my own apartment but have modified it with a toilet riser and a shower bench. Will the resort be able to provide these items or do I need to order them delivered from Amazon?

The resort will be able to provide them. Either you or she can call the resort adding a note to your reservation that these are needed.

Thank you for the information. I will ask her to call and add it to the reservation. It is a relief to cross worrying about this off the list.

We travel a lot and ask for a shower chair. We have never not been able to get one anywhere, even at hotels much less accommodating than Disney. The shower chair will not be a problem, even without notice or anything.

Not sure on the toilet riser, that one might be harder. For club level especially, I'm sure they will make this happen. I would call and ask to put a note on the reservation. Disney does check for stuff like this, like I got assigned an accessible room when I hadn't actually booked one, because there was availability.

Edit: The "Florida Accessible" category at Coronado says this: Portable Raised Toilet Seat Available

So, they have them. This will be no problem. You'll be able to do this with a call to housekeeping.
