Whats the availability like for July at 7th month window for Boardwalk for a 2 bedroom.

I am booked with my home resort but fancy trying out the Boardwalk.

I generally stay at the Boardwalk and have to book at the 7 month window and at times I seem to struggle to get the room that we require. Next year Im actually trying a Villa and will not be staying at WDW. Hope this helps

am I right in thinking that a boardwalk view or standard rooms though are very difficult to get at 7mths?

I am thinking of buying add on BWV points, as I want to be able to get a boardwalk view rather than the other preferred rooms. SO just wanted to check that my thoughts were accurate!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

You do struggle to get a boardwalk view room at the 7mth window but we have managed to do it 3 times, including this year when we booked for April 2010, when Flower & Garden Festival is on. Even the CM was surprised we managed without having to waitlist.

thanks ever so much for replying!! :thumbsup2

I'm glad that you have had so much success, I am just trying to weigh up how disappointed I would be if I am not so lucky at 7mths - I spend too much time on the DIS I think, as I end up wanting to book very specific things and then get disappointed if I can't do them!!:lmao:

I want to buy some add on points in the Epcot area - and keep changing my mind between the 2 resorts - I think the problem is I really want BOTH!!:goodvibes

I think the problem for us is that once you've had the Boardwalk view you want it all the time...it definitely spoils you. Last year we booked a pool view and waitlisted for a Boardwalk view but it didn't come through. We were a bit disappointed but at the end of the day we were happy just to be in the boardwalk as we love it.

As for wanting points in both resorts...I can't blame you as you get access to Stormalong Bay at Beach Club Villas.
