Availability at 6 months?

After attending the VGC event this weekend, I think we are going to go the resale route. There are a few contracts at AKV and BWV that fit. My question is, we are about. 7 1/2 months from our trip. Do you think either resort will have availability at 6 months (estimating 30 days for closing and ROFR) we would want a 1 or possibly 2 bedroom, Sun-Thurs, mid November. Hopefully we could get a deal done sooner than 6 months out, but I'm thinking worst case scenario.

View is not necessary but we'd take it! But if we could only get SSR at 6 months, then maybe we should wait. I really want to use points on this trip.

You can likely get something as long as you stay away from Thanksgiving but it is likely to be SSR or OKW. I think you are assuming to short a time frame on getting from a contract to being in the system. 30 days is the shortest you should hope for but more like 45-60 days if things go smoothly.

I really doubt you could get completely through the resale process in as little as 30 days. It might even take that long for ROFR alone.
