Now that autumn (that's "fall" to my commonwealth cousins!) has finally set in, I've got the non-planning blues! The last 2 years, I've set up a pre-Christmas trip for DD (11) and I at AKL and we did the lot - MVMCP, CP, Osborne Lights, breakfasts, dinners - all in 5 days and we had a ball! This year, however, with work and school commitments we just can't do it - believe me, I've tried all angles - until at least New Year's Eve (Hogmany for any Scots or wannabee Scots reading!) I know we'll have fun coz we're in the World but can we see any Holiday stuff at that time or is it all gone by New Year? (DH and I stayed off-site once pre-DD and by the day after Christmas it was business as usual!)
I will, of course, be jealously reading everyone else's posts about their pre, during and post-Christmas trips - I love to live vicariously!
