I'm wondering about the cars bumping in to each other. I'll have with me a little guy with a heart problem and is not s'posed to be jostled around too much.

If he were in the middle car and someone in the same group was in front and behind him...would he be safe enough?

Thanks for the advice.....

That should be fine. The only time cars bump into each other is when it is done on purpose, or somebody is not paying attention.

As long as you have someone in your group behind you you will be fine. I had my son with me and when we came to the end we had a lot of start and stops. We had a kid behind us that kept slamming into us on purpose. I saw his parents getting on to him about it when we got off but it was irritating. Not to mention it hurt our necks.

Yes...they are pretty strict about enforcing the no bumping policy. The only time it might happen accidently is when you are coming back into the station at the end of the ride. Often times you have to stop-and-go at that point, and the accelerators on those cars require you to push down really hard. It can sometimes be hard to judge the cars response...and I know I've accidently bumped the car in front of me before.

The other concern may be that the Autopia road is really in need of bad repairs at spots -- particularly the very old section of the track adjacent to the Nemo line. The ride is not very smooth at those points ... and some of the bumps can be a little jolting. Just be careful in that section.

Even with the rules we've been slammed in to pretty hard. We had some teenagers behind us that thought it was funny. All I've seen the CM's say was "no bumping". So I'd really want to make sure someone is behind us that we know. With heart problems I'd rather play it really safe!

I was kind of hoping they had an automatic limit to how close you could get to the next car after the remodel...no such luck. We'll make sure we have 3 cars of friends behind us so he can ride.

Thanks so much!
