Hey,

Have never been on this one before but it's a 'must' on the next trip due to the fact that DS is a proper little boy now and loves cars!

However, I do remember the queue - ridiculously long!!!!

Any tips for avoiding the nightmare?

Hannah

Go in for EMH and start queuing up 20 minutes before the other guests come in at rope drop at 10.00hrs :thumbsup2

Remember to check when the ride opens though. When we went there wasn't a morning it opened before 11.30am so we couldn't do that, we had to just stand it out which was such a pain as we hadn't queued for anything else!!

Good point. In the summer it opened at 10.00am :)

I've never seen it open without a ridiculously long queue (and often, its not been open at all when we've been in Discoveryland).

I was going to say the same of the others, check the opening times and start queuing before it does.
I can't see the way to avoid queueing anyway :confused3

we joined the queue for this during EMH although it didnt open til 10.30. The queue was outside the normal queing area as the normal area wasnt open. When it did open the queue moved forward and as it moved inside loads and loads of people decided to join the queue at the point where it goes inside meaning there was possibly about 100 people in front of us that hadnt been there before - it was so annoying

Go in November - never open, hence no queue!

Sorry I know thats facetious but its the only ride i've never ever been on and it annoys me....

Have only done Autopia twice and both times had a very long queue. Last visit we actually got half way down the line and then left deciding we'd rather be queuing for something else.

Hope you can get on without a queue, I think you're little boy will love it especially if you let him drive, he can steer and you do the foot pedal.:goodvibes

:rotfl: It has never been open for us either apart from Jan 08 and it was brill, my then 2 year old was driving and thought he was the biz!!:rotfl:

The queue was quite big to be honest but it went down REAL fast!

This is the only ride in the park that my wife has never been on, she has been three times and it's always closed when we go.

I'd love to take Kacee on this in October so fingers crossed that it's open!

Autopia can be a real pain at times.

It's hardly ever open during the quiet season and attracted really long queues when it is open, because it's not quiet season.

The only reason we're ever able to ride this is because DB has a disabled access.

I have to admit though - you're not missing out on a lot by not riding it :thumbsup2
