Would someone who is 6'4 be able to fit in an Autopia car with a child? We are headed to Disneyland next week and our daughter who is turning 5 is very excited by the idea of riding this ride. The plan since the beginning was that mom was going to ride the ride with her and dad was going to skip it and meet up with us after. Well as things turn out I will be 8 weeks pregnant next week and can't ride with her now. Do you think that my husband and daughter will be able to fit in a car together comfortably and be able to drive with him being so tall? TIA

I think that he can. My dh is 6'1" (or so) & rode it just fine with my ds.

Also, on a side note-you have to do what you feel comfortable with but I personally wouldn't have a problem riding Autotopia pregnant. It's very tame, IMO.

Congrats, BTW!

Just to give a different perspective...I would not ride while pregnant because the last time I went on that ride, the girls behind me thought it was absolutely hilarious to bump into me everytime I stopped. :sad2:

My dad rode with all of my DS's and he was 6'4 and had no problem. I would not advise riding while pregnant, the drivers do tend to think it is fun to bump the cars in front. I know that it seems like a very mild ride, but IMHO I would not.

Have fun!:flower3:

DH is 6'5" and cringes everytime I say "who wants to go on the cars?" ;) But he's a good sport and manages to cram himself in with either DD without too much trouble.

If I was pg the only way I would ride is if DBF was behind me and making sure no one bumped into me. But, we rarely ride it anyway so it's not an issue. That said, DBF is 6'3" and has no problems getting in the cars.

Sorry, I didn't think about the bumping. I don't think I've ever had anybody hit me????

No worries, if you've never had anybody hit you then you're lucky. Last time I was hit so hard by someone behind me my neck snapped backwards and I ended up with a migraine by the end of the day, it really sucked too, it hurt a lot. It seems every time I get on that ride whoever is behind me isn't just bumping me, they are slamming into me at their full speed while I'm at a total stop......

Thanks to everyone for your advice and opinions. Another worry about the trip can be crossed off my mental list. :goodvibes
