automatic tip?

I have a question, and I know there is a thread on topic but am still confused. I am not asking your personal opinion on tipping.

We will have the dining plan. We have a part of 2. At the table service resturants does your receipt give you an estimated tip that you have to leave that amount...or are you allowed to leave what you deam appropriete for the service you recieved. I was a waitress before so I understand it is hard at times.

Same for buffets?

were were there last Sept for free dinning and i cant remember on the bill if there was a estimated amount but put it this way with or without the dinning plan the server gets what he/she deserves that's just an estimated amount its totally up to you ..

The "suggested" amounts are listed at the bottom of your receipt. You can leave whatever you want. As a former server myself, I have a minimum % figure I use, even for bad service, but often go way higher if the service deserves it. When on vacation, I like the suggested amounts on the receipt so I don't have to do math.

"Disney does provide 18% and 20% calculations on the dining receipt. What you actually tip, is up to you with the exceptions below.

The exceptions to this are those using the Tables in Wonderland (TiW) Discount Card and parties of 6 or more. If you are in either one of these categories, you will have an auto gratuity of 18% added to your bill. Adjustments to this would need to be discussed with a manager.

Please note – Disney does not differentiate between types of Table Service – buffets, all you care to eat and menu ordering locations are all treated equal and subject to the same guidelines by Disney.

The gratuity is included in the dinner shows Hoop Dee Doo Review, Spirit of Aloha and at Cinderella’s Royal Table. You can always leave additional."
