I'm on a wailist for OKW. I own two different contracts. One at Saratoga and the other at Boardwalk. I have enought points at each resort to cover the OKW reservation. Which contract will they take the points from if they automatically book OKW when it comes available?

Tell MS which contract's points you want to use. Be certain that they note it on their computers. Ask for the CM's name and keep a note of the date and time of your call and CM's name just in case there is a mistake later. I have learned the hard way that documentation of these kinds of things is important!

A call to MS with your documentation should work to fix the problem. There probably will be no problem, but it is always a good idea to be prepared just in case.

If they are separate contracts, the wait list is tied to the contract. Thus if you change which one you're wait listed with, you may lose you place in line. If they are under a single master contract, you can tell them which points to use and you should do so before you match. They may or may not switch the points later if they use "the wrong ones", likely they won't unless you tell them which ones and then the get it wrong after that. Also be aware there is a chance you could lose the reservation while they are making any changes.

Help me with this senario if you can. I am making a ressie at 11 mos for BWV Memorial Day May 26, 27, 28th, 2009.I want AKV studio concierge at 7 mos. At the time I make my 11 mos ressie, can I go on the waitlist then? Or do I have to call back right at 7 mos.,and if not available, then get on the waitlist? Also, I would want to request all the days available at the same time or no changes. If that availability happens, it is automatic right? Can I lose both the BWV and the available AKV concierge while the CM is making the computer transaction? I would think there would have to be some guarantee if you are on the waitlist. :rolleyes1

Of course the chances of getting the concierge at 7 months for a holiday related week is very low and to require all or nothing at one time, even more so. If you have enough points, I'd make two reservations at 11 months out then at 7 months try to AKV concierge and wait list day by day for each individual day. If you don't get what you want in the end, you can always cancel. With the 2 reservations you won't lose the back up even if you match part of the days. You cannot go on the wait list for a non home resort until 7 months from the check out day, you'll have to call every day right when they open in this situation. There is a minimal risk of losing both reservations but really not much to speak of.
