Autographing t-shirts with fabric markers

Has anyone done this yet? My dds love Chip and Dale. I bought plain white t-shirts for our character meal at Garden Grill; I'm also bringing fabric markers to have them autograph the shirts. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this and had good luck with it?!

i have done it with a fat black sharpie twice now. one tip buy/borrow and enbrobry hoop to put t shirt over it helps with making sigs like better and it's easier for charcters to sign.

DS's haveboth done this at the end of the school year with thier classes. They have used fabric markers and sharpie markers. One thing I notice with the shirts using the sharpies last year, was that the colored ones bled just a little with washing. I have always ironed the shirts with the fabric markers before washing, maybe I should have done that too with the sharpies.
