We did the matted picture frame last trip and I love it! It's hanging in my daughters bedroom with a picture from the trip.

However it as a bit of a pain to carry around and worry about. I am considering it again...

Anyone have other ideas? I was thinking maybe a pillow case which I can later frame.

I don't think I want to do a traditional book but it is an option.

We had characters sign a white vinyl Mickey on our last trip- turned out awesome! I bought a bunch of different colored sharpies for the characters to sign with.

ooooh, just thought of one! What about quilt blocks. So each character signs their own quilt square and then you make it into a quilt when you get home. If you don't sew, there are plenty of people/places around that will sew for you if you don't mind spending a bit of cash.

Love this! Now I need to think how many I would need!

Love this too! How large was it, where did you find one :)

I'm making blank Mickey ears for autographs. We aren't hitting all the characters but I'm making a set for Joy and Sadness to sign then another set for when we drink around the world.

One year our boys picked out their favorite post cards from the resort gift shop on our arrival day. We had the characters sign the backs of the cards. They were easy to carry around and wound up being a great keepsake.

There are a couple of places online that still sell them for about $40-$50. It was a 9 inch. Just stuck it in the backpack everyday- not heavy at all.

I love this and have been tempted to do this for our next trip. Do you think the small ones would be ok for this purpose? I know that they won't hold as many signatures, but for where I want to display them plus the fact that I carry a small hipster bag I was thinking the small ones would work.

I think a smaller (3 inch?) would be cute- my only concern would be that some of the non-face characters might have trouble signing them.

We have done a pillow case which is fun. Also brought letters that spelled out our DD name. They were from a local craft store, white and we bought bright colored Sharpies. Her name looks great on her wall, about 4-5 signatures on each letter. We have also done a cloth tote bag which is unique and fun.

If you take a pillowcase or tshirt go pick up an embroidery hoop. They are only a couple dollars, will hold it tight and you just move it around to where you want them to sign.

We were watching a vlog yesterday and a couple had a Mickey plate that they had bought and were carrying around to have the characters sign. I thought it was a great idea, it came out looking fantastic. I just wonder how we would carry it around without breaking it!

Love this idea! But agreed a little worried about breaking it, especially with a toddler in tow!

What's an embroidery hoop? We've done autograph pages so many times, I would like to try something different this time. I like the idea of a t-shirt or cinch sac....

A cape might be fun. As long as it is within the size limits of Disney's costumes guide. Make your own action hero out of all the characters...

We've a few different things. The last few trips I made 8x8 photo books with character photos from the kids' prior trips - each character (or group) signs on the page with their photo. Many of the characters and handlers really liked looking through it.

We have also done drawstring bags with a character picture on it. DH cut cardboard that fit in the bag so it would be flat for the characters to sign. The only one who needed help from his assistant was Mickey

If my children were still little, I would love to do the quilt

They come in wood or plastic, basically two rings, one in the other. You place the fabric over the smaller one, pop the bigger on the outside and tighten the screw. Make fabric tight so easy to work with. Craft or sewing stores. These one is from Walmart. You can get as low as $4-5.
