All my daughter would like this trip to Disneyland is Stitch's autograph. We'll be celebrating her 10th birthday there. When we go to city hall to get her a birthday button, can we ask if there's a way to ensure we get stitch's autograph? She's love to see him too but the autograph seems to be a must have for her.

go to the brekfest with stich and lillio i think thated be the only way to make sure you got it

If she loves Stitch … try to fit in a breakfast at the “Lilo & Stitch Aloha Breakfast” at Disney’s PCH Grill in the Paradise Pier Hotel … you can make your PS (priority seating) 60 days in advance by calling … 714-781-3463 from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM Pacific Time … price $27.25 adult … children (3-9) $14.80 breakfast is served 7:00am to 11:30am…She can get an autograph and picture with Stitch...:yay:

Your best bet is to see Stitch when you're in the park that day, and a character meal is the best way to go.

The character breakfast would be best to ensure you get his pic and autograph also if its in your budget you can order a bucket or cake for her...unless you have that planned already.

Where are you staying? If you are staying at one of the on site hotels, you can request a picture and autograph from them. Do the Lilo and Stitch character breakfast too, that way she can get a picture with the blue guy too!!

When you go to City Hall to get her birthday button, make sure to ask for her birthday phone call from Goofy. The desk CM will ask her to pick up the phone on the desk and Goofy will be on the other end wishing her a happy birthday. Have a great time!

I definitely agree about the Lilo & Stitch breakfast. It's actually a really tasty one with a lot of variety, too! They spend a lot of time with the kids and even have "Learn to Hula" sessions with them.

Another tip for making sure you can get to see your favorite, yet more obscure, character in the park -

Go to City Hall first thing in the morning - they told me before 10am is best. They have a service called Toon Finders. They will call them and can arrange a meet and greet with a specific character. That gives them time to contact the "friends of the character" to see if they can be available. :wizard: I asked about this a week or two ago, when my 3 year old started her Peter Pan kick.

Also, depending on who the favorite character is, if they are in the parade, try to find out where their particular float stops during the performance portion. My girls have had amazing interations with the princesses, Peter, and other characters because of this. Many of them get off their floats and dance during this phase of the parade. We like sitting just past Coke Corner into the hub for Peter and Tink and right by the 50 Years of Magic in Town Square on Main Street for the Princesses (both are at the 6:30pm parade when it runs 2 times/day).

Parade stops are good, but you have to know the exact location of the stop you want. And to the OP, Stitch is not in Disneyland's current parade.

Now that I think about it, PhotoPass has some locations in DCA where Stitch jumps out of the pavement. They can also put his autograph on a PhotoPass photo with him in it.

Yeah like what everyone said, Lilo & Stitch's Breakfast will guarantee an autograph from Stitch. And you'll be able to find him in DCA too unlike DL, but you can talk to him in Innoventions at DL.

So are you allowed to take pics with characters while the parade has "stopped" for a bit? Seems kinda odd to me but of course i've never been to DL before and I know the parades at MK usually don't stop to allow guests to interact with characters.

The parade stops feature the characters waving gold banners and doing a choreographed routine to a specific point in the music. The parade stop can be a fun time for character interaction, but not a good time for getting a picture with the character like you would at a meet and greet. You can only take pictures of the characters during the parade. The only way you might be able to take a pic with a character would be if your child was sitting on the sidewalk when the character walked by and started talking with your child. You would not be able to stop the parade and have them pose for the picture, but only take a picture of them talking.

For instance, Ariel remains on her float the entire time, so while she may notice your child and talk with her during the show stop and/or as the parade goes by, there's no way you could get a pic of both your child and Ariel during the parade. The first 3 Disney princesses briefly get off the Sleeping Beauty Castle float to walk around it, but they don't stop to take pictures with guests.

If your child only has to see certain characters, the parade is a good way to so without waiting lengthy periods of time to do so. Disneyland's parade features some(but not all characters) from Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King, Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and the Fab 5(no Daisy) along with Chip and Dale. If your child wants to meet, interact with, get a picture taken with, and possibly get an autograph from a certain character, a meet and greet/character meal is the only way to go.

The breakfast is the way to go for sure. Stitch spends a lot of time with the kids too! He's also my son's favorite, even more so after we went to the breakfast. He had a blast with Stitch!
