Autograph Books

For pillowcases, we used fabric markers and they didn't bleed at all through to the other side.

Our next item is going to be a LL Bean tote bag for the characters to sign.

We've done the Shutterfly book and that was a big hit with both the characters and my oldest daughter.

I made a small autograph book like this for our trip. It was great. The kids used lanyards to wear them around their necks while we were approaching a character and while not waiting they were super easy to sling over the stroller or my shoulder. Plus we could use a sharpie or pen depending since we forgot our sharpie at the stroller a couple times. I also pulled pages out at night and replaced them with blank pages so that they were never too big or bulky.

I do like how some people included images of the characters. My kids can't read yet but still love leafing through their autograph books. I bet pictures would have made them over the moon.

Just ordered the Jr. Encyclopedia's for our trip next month, so excited!

Are there enough blank areas for any characters who may not be in the book? Who do you know isn't in the book that this may be an issue for?

For my daughter, one year we brought different colored sharpies and used a Disney t-shirt and got all of the characters to sign it on the back and saved Mickey's signature for the front. My daughter still really loves it!

For our first trip, I made autograph books for each kid. For the last trip, I purchased the Disney character encyclopedia and had it spiral bound. I plan to have the kids take pillow cases to have signed on this trip. They loved getting the books signed, but have torn and lost so many pages over time. Hopefully the pillow cases will hold up better and be something they can see and use every day.

Yes, there's plenty of room on the inside and back covers and end pages.

We met Mr. Incredible and Frozone at HS. There was no dedicated page for Frozone, but he appeared in a smaller picture together with Mr. Incredible on his page. He signed the same page, then drew and arrow to himself.

I think most of the characters are in the book. Max Goof, a hard-to-find character in any event, is not in the book.

The toy soldier from Toy Story is not in the book. Big Hero 6 characters are not in the book (we have the 2014 edition).

In the dollar section at Target I found little blank books (they had a couple different sizes) for making your own books.

I was thinking of maybe using them as Autograph books this year if my son doesn't use them before our trip.

The ones I got are small 3x5 size, but there were 3 in the pack (and they were either a dollar or 3 dollars).

Honestly though, I really like the Disney ones that have a spot for the picture next to where the characters sign.
