Anyone knows where I can get a small autograph book? Or perhaps can someone suggest what they have used instead?

I had thought about using a mini photo album and reserve one side for a picture of my son with the character and perhaps on the opposite side reserve for the character's signature and possible character stickers or something??

Love to hear your ideas :D

When we arrived at Orlando airport, we stopped at the Disney store at the airport on the way to pick up the luggage. We purchased an autograph book at the Disney store. It is a good idea to have the characters sign on one side of the book and leave the page open on the opposite side for a picture... Our ds loves to look at the book......

For our upcoming trip, I made some great Autograph, journel books for my kids. I bought some very enexpensive small size journals, I think each has about 200 pages. I covered the outside covers with scrapebook paper. Put some very cool disney, beach stickers to dress it up. They turned out, very original. I also used gel markers to write the dates and Wonder on the book.
The kids think they are neat. With all the extra pages they can add little notes themselves. Glue pictures in them and just little things that caught their eyes. Have fun with it!

For WDW, I use a 4x6 spiral-bound perferrated note card book. Then, when I get home, I can put the autograph in the photoalbum next to the picture of the character.

DANDD, I am curious to hear how much the autograph book at the Disney store in the Orlando airport cost. Did it have blank pages so that you can paste some photos and/or character pages with an autograph area?

I wanted unique ones when I bought them about 6 years ago for our first trip to WDW. I went to the Disney store and bought some blank journal books. One of the ones I got was actually an address book but wasn't divided except by the letter tabs. Basically, the book had tabs a-z on the outside, but the inside was just blank pages. That was the best one. It was my DS's and he had the characters sign in their section. Needless to say, the Ms are pretty full!

You can also find blank books at most bookstores, but they usually aren't Disney themed.

We have used the ones we have for two WDW trips and two cruises. I have to admit my kids have outgrown autographs and didn't get any this last trip! I took the books anyway.

I can't remember how much we paid for the autograph book - but I think it was around $7.... It has blank pages on both sides so we had the characters sign the right side of the book... While they were signing, I quickly snapped a picture. I then glued a picture of the character signing the book on the left side of their autograph... My ds (4 years old) just loves to look at the book... We are going on the Magic again in April and I will use the same book for autographs....

Thanks to all and your wonderful ideas!

Thank you too DANDD for replying with approx. cost. I think I might go this route after all. We, including DS4, are also going on the 7-night Magic cruise in April (specifically April 26th) :Pinkbounc

NORIS: We will also be on the April 26 Magic cruise... We went on the Eastern Magic last April and had a wonderful (or should I say MAGICAL time)! My ds was asking tonight how many more "wake-ups" til the Mickey Ship!!! He is really looking forward to being back on the Mickey Ship!

Just one comment about the address book. Make sure you get a fat pen for the characters to use. When we went to WDW, I bought an autograph book for my daughter but not the fat pen because, hey I had a pen, right??? Wrong. It was much easier for the characters to hold the fat pen, so I went back in and bought one! Always listen to the CM, right? Ha, Ha.
