Autograph Books

My DD wants to get the autographs of all of the characters that she can. What is the best kind of book to get? Do they sell any on the boat and are they priced really high?...or should I just buy a cheap one at Walmart?

They sell them on the ship, maybe $5 bucks or so...I am really not sure of the price. they are the exact ones that they sell at WDW. They do not have cruise logo or anything...

If you see them at Wal-mart and they are inexpensive, get them there. You could always decorate it with some Disney stickers!!!

Prefacing my comment - my son has an autograph book....

There is NOTHING more annoying than waiting to have a picture taken when children are getting autographs. MINE INCLUDED.

I bought an inexpensive 5 by 5 inch scrapbook at my local craft store. Also bought some plastic page covers and Disney stickers. When a character signed a page, we turned (skipped) the adjoining page and I later placed the picture of my DD and the character next to the autograph. We decorated the cover and autograph pages with the stickers. It has made a very nice memory book for my DD 4.

The WDW autograph book they sell on the ship would be $5.50. Since it doesn't have a DCL cruise, I think you are better off getting one at a local craft store, and decorating it on your own. It's fun to leave the page next to the autograph blank so you can add a photo to it later on.

Also, be sure to bring a pen, because the characters won't carry pens!!

Let me add to Disneygator's comments. The really "fat" pens seem to work better. It's easier for the characters to hold on to them!

Disneygator, thanks for your comments on my DH's Triton's attire! I feel better now that I know we aren't going to have a battle!
