Autograph Books

What is the scoop on these? Do kids carry them around? Our last trip to WDW everyone had them.

Do I buy one at Downtown Disney or can I get a cruise line book? I would prefer a cruise line if available.

If not, is there a princess autograph book?

Yes you can buy on ship in gift shop along with cute pens shaped like Mickey and other characters. My DS usually just had theirs in hand when we went to see characters at the scheduled times in atrium lobby and at character breakfast. We are going on 2nd cruise this weekend and planned to take it back and get the ones we missed last year.

We bought our first book at Disney World in 1997. Each trip we skip a page and put in our vacation dates. We usually only get to take a trip that big about once every 2 years.
Each time we get an autograph we take a picture of the kids and the character. We put the pictures in a small photo book and can look at the picture and the autograph at the same time. It is wonderful to look at the pictures and remember how much fun we have on our family trips. Before we leave for each trip we make sure that we know what charaters that we still do not have.

And don't forget that you can take along Disney pillowcases and leave them at guest services and they will come back all signed! My daughters love theirs and sleep with them every night (took them to Girl Scouts to show the other girls).

I bought ours at Meijers (but also saw them at K-mart if you don't have a Meijers in your area) for around $6 each and took laundry markers and put them in zip lock bags. My twins celebrated their birthday on the cruise and this was a wonderful birthday surprise for them!
