Autograph books?

We buy the ones that they sell in every resort gift shop & gift shop in the park. They're pretty inexpensive, somewhere between $8 and $12, I don't remember exactly. Of course, a regular notebook would be fine too. Whatever you prefer!

You could always make one! Check out the Creative DISign board and get inspired:

I like to put clipart of characters we are likely to see and print out on cardstock...about $5 to get bound at Kinkos. You can make room to add your photos as well.

I have also seen some really nice/creative Epcot Passports on the Creative DISign board...great for kids too old to color masks at Kidcot Funstops.

We make our own with cardstock. The costumed characters prefer to sign with Sharpies (or other large pens) because it's easier for them to hold with gloves. If you use a regular book, the marker will go through the page.

They sell some that I think are neat - they have a slot for a picture along with a place for the character to sign.

We make scrapbook cards to have the character sign. This way when we get home all we need to do is add it to our book with a photo. Otherwise we have them sign a book and we tear it apart to scrapbook it and we waste the money on the book. We also end up needing more than one book. Just an idea to pass on.....

Do you buy a special one or just get a regular notebook? Need suggestions!:thumbsup2

It seems like I posted this a lot lately, but there have been a lot of autograph threads, so if you're sick of seeing DS's autograph book...feel free to skip this post.

I made this for DS's December 2008 trip with pictures from his first trip last May. Everyone who laid eyes on it LOVED it (characters, CMs, other guests), and he got ridiculous amount of character interaction. I started to feel sorry for the people behind us because they spent so much time with him. Several times the handler or I tried to hurry them along, but they wanted to look through the book, point out their friends, pretend they were mad if they weren't in it, etc. Meeko even ran away with the book. I've made another one for DS and DNiece for our September trip.

I made this one on Snapfish. Most photo sites, though, have similar products.

I actually modified one for our trip. I bought a 4x6 sketch book (or any other book that's small and doesn't have lines on the page) and some Mickey paper and stickers and covered the book myself. That way DS had something that was special to him.

Thanks for all the great ideas - LOVE the pics of the homemade one, fantastic! I think I'll just make my own, decorate it and embellish it once we're home.:)
