Okay so I found a bunch of threads on making autograph books-overwhelming:eek:!! Anyhow I like the idea of having snapfish or a like company print one up and found the disney group at snapfish, but i wonder if some of the cards are for characters only found at WDW?

Is there a way to figure out what characters I will need for disneyland?
I hate to print cards that there is no character for.
We will have 5 days at the parks and 2 character meals-Minnie's brkfst and lunch at the Groto. Also will be doing the MHP.
(I have never been before and so I am more excited than more 4 year old-for her and me!!!)

I had originally planned on the JR encyclopedia-but it has way to many characters in it!!
thanks ahead of time

Try looking searching for a thread about characters. People often ask which ones they will see so come threads have good compilations already.

If I were you - I would get autographs on blank cards and then make your book with pics of the ones you get - backwards, I suppose to how you origiannly thought.

That way you can be sure to get right characters. We saw so many I would never have thought of - and some I never even knew!!

Seconded. We made our own book afterwards. The pictures we used were pics with us in it, so it was more personalized and has more memories with it.

I am doing the Disney Jr. Encyclopedia for one child--but it has only animated characters in it...so no Mary Poppins and the like.

I also made another one through Shutterfly (an 8x8 hardcover) using pages from someone on the DIS. The pages don't have character names, just images...so technically they could be used for any character. I *love* the album and so do my children. In order, the pages go--Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Chip/Dale, Tigger, Pooh, Pluto, a page with multiple characters (Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Roo, etc) that we likely will use for Eeyore), Buzz, the Green Army Men, Jessie, Woody, Tinkerbell, Hook, Alice, a "blank" page that is printed with images of the castle--can be used by any character, the Fairy Godmother, a "pink" page (to be used by a princess), a "green" page (for any character).

Plus characters can sign the plain pages that Shutterfly automatically puts at the beginning and end of the book as well as the inside of the covers. I chose the pages based on who we have seen on past visits as well as the character meals we have scheduled. I plan to get retractable Sharpies (the kind you click the top of) for the characters to use.
