autograph books... it adds up

Target had some in "one spot", and I got my 8 year old a Minnie themed one for $1!

if you have a car, you can go to walmart in the area. they sell the autograph books (and other disney souveniers) cheaper than onsite.

I purchased a little disney notepad that worked well for the autographs.

Don't waste most of your time getting the autographs. DS never looked at them. I would waste your time on getting pictures of the characters with your kids. Much more memorable.

We made autograph books. Found character pics online printed them on a sheet and laminated. They are personalized too.

In the $1.00 bins at the front of Target we found Disney Princess Books that were perfect for autographs. The had a hard cover and many blank pages for autographs. They also help up well with toddlers handling them. Fast, easy and you won't be that bothered if you lose it!

Hobby Lobby and Michaels have spiral notebooks with blank pages and craft foam covers. They are usually in the same aisle as the craft foam and are labeled as scrapbooks on the packaging. The craft foam can then be decorated with markers and stickers. The pages are a great weight and sharpies did not bleed on them. I believe they were around $4-5 apiece and I used 40% off coupons to get one each trip to the craft store so they were super affordable. We have used them both trips and the girls still look at them. Also, the pages are a great size to cut out and use on scrapbook pages (did that with the first one from the first trip.)

We did autograph books the first year and they were easily forgotten. Our second year, we bought a photo mat. Each character signed it or wrote a message and when we got home, my daughter picked her favorite picture, and inserted it into the mat. We framed it and hung it on her bedroom wall. Of course, this is easiest to do if you are pushing a stroller so you have a basket to store it in!
