This is our first trip and I wanted to get some opinions as far as what is the best solution for autographs.

I have 4 kids that are each going to want their own book plus I am a scrapbooker and would like my own autographs to scrap. For myself, I was thinking about printing some of the 4 x 6 cards that people from dis have designed. For the kids, I was thinking about creating their own little autograph books with just plain white cardstock inside. I figured this would be less hassle for them rather than trying to find certain pages with specific characters on them. What do you think?? Also, if anyone has pictures of autograph books that you have created, I would love to see them for inspiration. Thanks!!

No help, I have 4 kids and we only buy 1 book. So now, I have 6 autograph books upstairs. lol

I cut out mickey heads with my cricut, we use those for autographs - one per character. We have a "family" Disney scrapbook, everything goes in there, the autographs, the pictures, memorabilia, etc. Then, each of my kids has a Disney scrapbook that had 3-5 pics of themselves from each trip (we usually go 2-3 times per year) and what their favorite memories of the trip were.

Just what we do - don't know if that's been any help!

These are great ideas - the Mickey heads cut on the Cricut is a cute idea and would be great on a scrapbook page! :goodvibes

We have used the hardcover spiral bound journal books from the disney store. I have gotten them on sale anywhere from 1.99-5.99 each. They are small but not too small (about 5x7?) and the hard covers prevent them from getting bent/smooshed. When we get home I pull out the autographs, trim the spriral edges and scrapbook them onto pages with my daughter's pics of her getting the autographs. They are cute and practical. I like to scrap frames around the autographs to dress them up even more.

I bought my daughter a small disney storybook before we left. We had the characters sign it and labled it (DD's 1st trip 2009). This way it goes on her bookshelf instead of packed away in a box.

I don't know if this is the best or the easiest but it is cool and creative, check it out, I am going to to try this for DS.

First of all, let me just say that I LOVE these!! (next trip!!!)

We also collect sports autographs so for Christmas I bought each child an artist's sketchbook that is spiral bound (maybe 4x6). They can decorate over the front with stickers and it is already bound and contains nice thick paper. I like the spiral, because it is easier for the characters to hold "open". Last time we had a couple of characters sign upside down and we've had football players sign on the back of another players autograph. We hope these new ones will make it easier.

This year I am having the kids use an autograph frame for their autographs. Similar to the things you sign at parties or weddings. I can get them in a size that can easily fit in my backpack.

Then when we get home I can place a favorite picture inside the Mat frame, place is a nice picture frame and hang it on the wall.

I love this idea! What a great keepsake to enjoy after your trip!
