My DH found a website that sells the autograph books. We were planning on getting these for the boys anyway, but just curious how much they normally run at Disney. They're only about 8 bucks on the site he found, so wondering if its better to get as much of that stuff as we can BEFORE we get there.

THanks for any input!

Hi, Not sure how much time you've got befor you leave but I got brand new ones on e-bay. I think I paid $16 for 3, incl shipping. HTH.

Which ones are normally better, I know its mainly personal preference, butnot sure whether to get the photo album autograph book, or the regular one. Any suggestions?

I think it depends upon your kids and how likely they are to go back and relive the memories.

I just got the inexpensive ones with blank pages for signatures because I know my kids. While they are all excited about the prospect of getting signatures they are just not the type of kids to go back and relive the memories. In all probability within a few months the books will be collecting dust on the shelf.

Also, while we go on two vacations/yr, one is always to visit DH's family so as long as we have the money we always try to go someplace different on our other vacations to make life a learning experience. So for us the books won't get used again on another trip.

I will be taking photos myself and using photopass and putting the photos in a photobook. I might scan the signatures to put in the photobook as a well.

What we do is make our own autograph books. We bring a little spiral note card notebook, like the kind high school kids use, that has the lined cards on one side and the blank side on the other (it costs less than a dollar at Target or Walmart). Then we have the character sign the blank side and just flip it over to the next blank one when we get to the next character. It saves a lot of headaches of finding a blank page, plus they are all in order when we develop our photos.

Then we take our photographs and buy photo albums (usually at the Dollar store or Family Dollar you can find smaller disney themed ones) and put the autograph and the photos opposite of each other so you can see both at the same time.

We find it easier to do it this way then to carry a big autograph book around. To answer your question, I would get the photo one.
