When we go next summer my boys will be 10 and almost 8. Do 10 and 8 year olds enjoy getting autographs? I don't know, part of me thinks the 10 yr old will think it is babyish. What has been your experience?
My DS12 and DD11 still enjoy getting autographs of the characters. Maybe your children might be more interested in getting a t-shirt or hat autographed instead of an autograph book.
It depends on your child. My DS is almost 6 and has no interest whatsoever in getting autographs. He never did and probably never will. (Except for Star Wars weekends, when I had to buy him an autograph book just so he could get Anakin Skywalker's signature....the only autograph in the whole book! ) I did have him do it when he was about 3 just so he was able to stay with the characters long enough to interact with them more and get pictures.
Growing up, my sister and I loved it and did it until we were teenagers.
the last time we went our boys were 8 & 10 and they both loved it and the oldest one (even back then) considers himself quite cool. We are going in October and I was asking them about it and the now 13 year old is a little iffy on it but the 11 year old said of course he was going to do it.
